Experience
I started building websites at 14. After school, I got hired by a Swiss agency and worked remotely for 7 years, building sites for clients like CERN and EPFL.
Then I realized code alone doesn't matter. Clients needed revenue, not just websites. I joined Single Grain to work closer to the business, learned how growth and marketing actually work, and started building systems where the code itself drives outcomes.
Generation Genius taught me high-growth. I was the first full-time developer at a startup whose traffic grew from 250K to 1.25M monthly visitors, and which Newsela later acquired for $100M. Daily fires, real stakes. That's where I learned to perform under pressure.
Since 2022 most of my work has been AI. I originated ClickFlow, an AI content platform, and built it as lead and mostly sole developer. Now I work as a freelance engineer, directly with business owners, on their hardest technical problems.
Three of those engagements are written up as the WordPress crash stabilization, Google Discover traffic recovery, and lost archive restoration case studies, and my AI work as the AI content pipeline case study.
Where I've Built
Single Grain
Web Developer → Growth Engineer → Product Engineer
I started managing web properties, then evolved into building products and growth systems. Working alongside expert marketers, I learned how digital marketing actually works: SEO, conversion optimization, the full funnel.
In 2023, I built a complete programmatic SEO technology stack when it was still emerging. It generated $105K revenue from $28.4K spend (269% ROI), 1,670 leads, and 2 new clients. In 2024, I redesigned the homepage and increased leads 40%.
Early 2025, I spotted an opportunity to automate content creation with AI. I originated ClickFlow and built it as lead and mostly sole developer: the backend, the agentic workflows, and the multi-tenant SaaS around them, with the agency's SEO managers as its first users. I helped the CTO shape the UX. It produced an estimated 100+ blog drafts weekly at roughly 10x lower cost (about $250 down to about $25 per post). I also built AI features for Karrot.ai, a B2B marketing platform.

I joined as the first full-time developer when the platform was incomplete. I inherited messy code from offshore contractors and had to rebuild the foundation. I refactored core systems, completed the site, and built the architecture it ran on as traffic grew from 250K to 1.25M monthly visitors. From late 2020 I continued part-time as a consulting developer.
In 2024, the site started experiencing daily outages. I migrated the infrastructure myself, coordinated with the new host, and executed the move with zero downtime. Outages dropped to zero.
I spent almost 2 years working with the investment banker on acquisition due diligence: data analysis, retention reports, business metrics. The company became the #1 Fastest-Growing Education Company on Inc5000, earned recognition on TIME Magazine's 100 Most Influential Companies, and was acquired by Newsela for $100M in 2025.
